Call for Applications ILS is now open!

Leiden Law School has been granted € 1.000.000 from the University Board of Leiden University in relation to its Profile Area Interaction Between Legal Systems (ILS 2.0), pursuant to the successful completion of ILS 1.0 in February 2015.


21, 22 and 23 Januari 2015 | ILS-conference "Room for reflection"

From the 21st until the 23rd of January 2015, our faculty will be dedicated to our research profile, the Interaction between Legal Systems . During these couple of days, the Kamerlingh Onnes Building will be available for a research conference with the theme: Interaction between legal systems, room for reflection .


Leiden legal experts and criminologists launch blog

The Leiden Law School proudly presents the new Leiden Law Blog. More than 50 researchers are poised to give their views on current events. The authors, all specialists in fields of law and criminology, are blogging in English. Their aim is to reach a worldwide audience.


30 October 2012 | ILS lunch meeting

On Tuesday, October 30th the second ILS lunch meeting of this year will take place. Jan Crijns, professor of Criminal Law, will provide a lecture on how to deal with the interaction between legal systems in your PhD research.
